Tickets information

1. Fares:

   The charge of Taipei Joint Bus System is based on sections. Passengers who take the bus route across two sections (inclusive) or more will be charged additional fare for one extra section if the bus has crossed the dividing point (or the buffer zone in between).

2. Types of Tickets:

   1. Full Price:NT$15 for each section paid either by cards or in cash.

      Student Discount:NT$15 is charged for each section when paid in cash with a20% discount is applied (NT$12 for each section) when paid by Easycard.

      Priority Ticket:NT$8 is charged for each section.

   2. Passengers qualifying for discounted tickets:
      1. Student Discounts: students holding a valid Student ID Card (or ISIC) with academic records atany college or school recognized by the Ministry of Education (National Open University included).
      2. Priority Tickets:
         • Citizens or foreigners who of the age of 65 and above and holding an ID document.
         • Aboriginal citizens who are aged 55 and above and holding an ID document.
         • Individuals with a disability and carrying a manual, and their companion (one companion only).
         • Children whose heights are between 115cm and 150cm and under age of 12with an ID document.
   3. Children who are either shorter than 115cm or taller than 115cm but under age of 6with an ID document can ride free of charge. Children with free tickets should be accompanied by adult(s) with full price ticket. Each adult passenger can only bring at most two children with them. Ticket purchase for more than two children is required.
   4. Priority Ticket holders are requested to show their ID document voluntarily for checking. Passengers who are found disqualified have to pay the full price of the route as compensation.
3. Payment approaches:
   1. Passengers can either pay in cash or by Easycard when embarking.
   2. No tickets are sold and no change is given on the bus. Thank you for your cooperation.
